Dynamic Connections

Dynamic Connections reinforces the skills your child is building in individual therapy—speech, language, processing, or social communication—while providing a fun, supportive environment. Children engage in activities that strengthen peer interactions, communication, focus, and overall processing abilities.

Who:

For children ages 5-12 years old.

What:

When:

Mondays-Thursdays at 4:00-5:00 PM

Why:

Real progress happens when kids can practice their skills with peers. Dynamic Connections gives them that opportunity, helping build confidence, friendships, and lasting success beyond one-on-one therapy.

Young Adult Social Group

Join our Young Adult Group — a welcoming space for young adults to build confidence, experience personal growth, promote social communication and create lasting friendships! Sessions feature interactive activities, personal growth opportunities, and peer support, with occasional group outings announced in advance. Our group is committed to creating a space where everyone feels valued, understood, and connected!

Who: 

Young Adults ages 18-25

What:

Group Goals

  • Social Skills Development:  Practice and enhance social interactions in a supportive and therapeutic setting.
  • Personal Growth:  Engage in activities designed to build confidence, independence, and self-awareness.
  • Life Skills:  Gain practical skills for daily living, such as financial literacy, time management, and more.
  • Interest-Based Activities:  Participate in activities and discussions centered around your hobbies and passions.
  • Peer Support:  Connect with others who understand your experiences and challenges, offering and receiving mutual support.

Girl Group

Our Girl Power Club offers a fun, supportive space for young girls to build confidence and strengthen social communication skills. This group helps children practice friendship skills, express emotions, solve problems, and engage in positive peer interactions—all while having fun and working toward their individual goals.

Who:

For girls ages 5-7 years old.

What: 

  • Social groups are held weekly with a focus on enhancing social communication skills with peers, targeting your child’s individualized goals, and implementing learned strategies in a dynamic group environment.
  • Enhance social communication skills with peers through engaging lessons on Recognizing and expressing feelings and emotions, Understanding expected vs. unexpected behaviors, Practicing perspective taking, Utilizing problem solving skills, Learning the difference between thought vs. talk bubbles, Using positive self-talk, Practicing whole body listening to improve attention and engagement, Developing skills in being a good sport, and much more. 
  • One 60-minute weekly session after school with peers.
  • Insurance or group rates may apply.

Mondays 4:30-5:30 PM

 To foster meaningful friendships, support children in maintaining these connections throughout the year, and build lasting confidence in their social interactions.

Afternoon Club

Afternoon Club is a weekly social group that supports tweens and teens who benefit from extra guidance in peer interaction, communication, and social connection. It provides a safe, structured, and fun environment where participants can grow their social confidence and strengthen real-world communication skills.

Who: 

Children ages 12-17 years old.

What:

Each week, participants engage in structured, therapist-led activities that target key areas such as:

  • Initiating and maintaining conversations

  • Reading body language and tone of voice

  • Managing group dynamics and peer conflict

  • Practicing flexible thinking and emotional regulation

  • Developing perspective-taking and empathy

  • Building self-advocacy and confidence in group settings

Sessions combine discussion, role play, games, and real-life problem-solving exercises to encourage growth in a way that feels safe, relatable, and engaging for teens.
